Nice job on the drawings of the brackets, but I would personally go with the European type brackets. Using the hanging hardware such as Hafele sells you get lots of adjustability both up and down and in and out. This will compensate for almost any problems with the walls. I use these with the addition of a nailer in the lower part of the cabinet.

Re: Help on hanging garage cabinets
I make all my cabs with a 5/8" back .. the same as the carcass. This would allow you to screw whatever you wanted to it and use a 5/8" scribe on the cab gables to hide it. FWIW JMHO.George Davidson wrote:Help on building the back of the cabinet to hang on wall.
