Changes/Additions for v5.1 Build 5 (10/10/07)
• This update is merely a time extension for eCabinet Systems. Build 4 will be expiring on November 1, 2007. This update will initiate a registration verification upon startup of eCabinet Systems so internet access will be required to run the first time. Development for eCabinet Systems 5.2 is currently underway. A release date for 5.2 is still unknown.

Changes/Additions for v5.1 Build 4 (7/12/07)
• Changing material thickness during a CNC write can cause non-user changed height doors/drawers to become incorrect sizes. (cabinets that have this issue must have the doors/drawer fronts deleted and re-added) (FIXED)
• If the countertop editor is visited more then once it will freeze when saving the job. (FIXED)
• Certain scenario can cause display parts to move when associated to a cabinet. (FIXED)
• Having front construction on the left and or right end of a corner cabinet causes the top’s blind dado tenon (for the right or left construction) to be positioned at an incorrect angle protruding from the part. (FIXED)
• Global changes to blind dado % thickness will not apply to the right edge of a newly added stretcher. (FIXED)
• Certain combination of settings causes a Corner cabinet right back to position incorrectly when full dado is applied. (FIXED)
• Corner cabinet top stretchers can nest incorrectly when not symmetrical. (FIXED)
• Certain steps can cause a double grid to show in the countertop editor. (FIXED)
• Changing grain direction on a cabinet back containing a certain combination of dados will cause them to nest incorrectly. (FIXED)
• Attempted to be save a job file over a read only file name causes a temporary save file to become read only. This results in not being able to save any further jobs until this temp save file is removed or set back to read/write. (FIXED)
• Changing sheet stock material in the batch via the “change sheet stock” feature can cause system holes to become missing in certain scenarios. (FIXED)
• Door/drawer editor section selection is incorrect if a deck contains a negative bottom inset. (FIXED)
• Certain corner cabinet settings can cause an error message “error copying body to partition” when adding a fixed shelf. (FIXED)
• Dimension display values for height, shown on the place items dialog, will show an inaccurate value for detached toe cabinets and face framed cabinets that have the bottom rail extended below the cabinet box. This can cause incorrect cabinet sizes in the custom layout if the change size option is selected and not reset to the correct height value. (requires resaving of cabinets that display this incorrect value) (FIXED)
• Drawer boxes created and saved in 5.1 build 3 have the fit and depth clearance values reversed in CNC output. (FIXED)
• Custom Layout: Changing doors at the custom layout level can cause certain detached toe cabinets to move there position. (FIXED)
• Certain cabinet configurations containing stretchers will cause a crash when changing the cabinet size in batch or when changing material thickness during CNC output. (FIXED)
• Corner cabinet will not allow blind or full dado from the back edge of a left or right end to the back when back is set to back flush. (FIXED).
• Drawer box dado and dovetail operations will not obey grain rotation. (FIXED)
• Objects scaled in the Display Part Editor will not save out with the scaled value. (FIXED)
• Blind dado tenons changing to 100% thickness when returning from the Constraint Manager. (FIXED)
• Countertop and cabinet, when selected together, will not move in sync when moved with the move increment. (FIXED)
• Face Frame parts on a non-symmetrical angle front corner cabinet will load into the Part Editor at an incorrect rotation causing part editor cuts to fail. (FIXED)

• Improved file saving for “Out of Memory” error. (IMPROVED)
• Added ability for users to change thickness % for puzzle joints. (ADDED)
• Saving a cabinet with the equal sign in the file name causes trouble when reloading the cabinet. (Manually changing the file name will allow the cabinet to load) This character is now blocked. (FIXED)
• Part editor hole placed in the corner of a blind dado (and has the exact same depth as the dado) can cause an error message “Error creating route bodies” and then it will lose part editor cuts on that part. (FIXED)
• Changing material thickness when writing CNC would not update the thickness % for puzzle joints. (FIXED)
• Particular part in a job (nexus main top) will not nest in true shape. (FIXED)

Changes/Additions for v5.1 Build 2 (3/13/07)

• Simplified and improved the “All” functionality on face frames construction settings, page two.  It now allows separate “All” functionality for material definition and material widths based on the top rail’s settings. (ADDED)

Changes/Additions for v5.1 (2//28/07)

• New simplified edge banding interface replaces the previous approach.  Now edge banding can be designated throughout the cabinet in one easy to use interface.
• You can now band edges with Part Editor cuts. 
• Board stock material area modified to include board feet calculations and define board stock by length and thickness with width defined by the application. 
• Added features to the face frame area including: 
• The ability to define and display board stock face frames with mortise and tenon construction
• The ability to nest face frame components from sheet stock
• The ability to define edge banding for face frame components made from sheet stock.
• Addition of a new joint for nested face frames called the “Puzzle Joint”.
• Ability to incorporate construction joints (full dado, blind dado and KD/RTA) between the cabinet and face frame.

• Dado clearances now apply to the dados created by the part that has the setting.  i.e.  Setting a 1/16” Dado Fit Clearance value in the Top’s Construction Parameters will cause the dado in a Right End to be wider (not longer) by 1/16” if the Top is Blind or Full Dado into the Right End. (ALTERED)
• Ability to adjust the font type, size and color for dimensions added in the Constraint Manager. (ADDED)
• Displays Conestoga’s minimum increment next to the door/drawer front sizes for purchasable Conestoga doors/drawers. <pop-up part display and buy list> This will help alleviate confusion as to why some doors/drawers do not add on or show at the users specified dimension. (ADDED)
