Kerry's message refers to an after-the-fact cleanup after V6 has placed files in a spot you don't want. Upgrade messages do not offer you the option of advising where you want your User data files to be placed. This makes a messy install/upgrade. I now have to move files after the fact.

Re: Messy data placement on upgrade to V6
Glenn,
This all happened as a result of the upgrade, and I never got asked during that process about where I wanted data files to go. I assumed the upgrade would copy these onto the drive I specified for the upgrade, but it did so only partially, putting the datafiles on Drive C as a default. That's ...

Messy data placement on upgrade to V6
I upgraded to V6.
My computer is organized with multiple drives and all my programs are on Drive D including the recent upgrade. Only my operating system is on Drive C.
I always direct program installs to go to drive D. It appears all the programs went where they were supposed to go.

George,
I got the same result as Greg.
I note that it is an esj file which is a job file. Does a job file call for separate cabinet files to be available for loading or is it all included with the esj file?

Re: Version 6.1
I guess I have to throw my vote unquestionably for whatever results in good rendering. In my case, it's a pretty basic decision, if you don't get the job, there is no need for much else at that point. Selling to end users (as I do) is quite different from selling to Architects and designers. Maybe ...

Neville,
I haven't yet bought an SSD. I got sidetracked and spent the money elsewhere. I will have to wait.

What seems to be missing is your individual cabinet labor & misc charges. When you finish designing a cabinet, double click anywhere on the whole cabinet and you will see a highlight outline occur. Then, right click your mouse and in the list of options you will see "set labor costs" near the ...

Lamar,
Forgot to mention that is a very nice job and blends with the house nicely. I'll bet they are very happy with the job.
I would paint the high windows the same color as the wall though, they compete with the cabinets.

Jean,
Not so silly. I am looking to upgrade my machine to an SSD (Solid State Drive). They are now available up to 63G in size and should speed lots of things up including the operating system and programs. Similar to what you are suggesting but more robust.

Kerry,
Good, informative remarks on finishing.
On your HVLP comments, I use a TurbinAire HVLP system and they have a pressure release fitting that attaches to the hose at the turbine that allows me to use a non-bleeding gun. I hate the constant bleed air guns as you do, just another thing to blow ...

Ray,
Nice work. How did you bend the wood, or were the rails cut from solid stock and the panel coopered?

Vince,
Now, that right there is a really fine job of rendering and final result. Can't imagine the customer not being happy with this job.
Do you folks do your own paint finishing or job it out? Looks great.
