Scott. I found out what I was doing that it didn't like.
You have to choose a material thickness at the top that matches the sheet stock you intend to use. I was surprised that it wouldn't take any material and just adjust the cabient like in other areas of ecabs.
Thanks
Kenneth

sheet stock face frames ??
I have an inexpensive laundry room to do and want to use my same prefinished ply for the face frames with a puzzle joint. I can get it to take the 3/4 generic, but the drop down box doesn't allow me to use my other sheet goods for the face frames.

Don, I tried it and it doesn't put the dado on there within ecabs when you nest from there, so I don't think the link has anything to do with it.

Dale,
I remember making you one in another program quite a while back that worked. I know you are trying to find a fix for it, but if you need another one, let me know.

Re: Part editor - display cube
I had a cabient with duplicate parts and it turned yellow. For some wierd reason, it made multiple sides on several parts.
I don't know if you have this happening, but on the one that I had this happening to, I had to delete the yellow part and it went back to normal. If you delete it and it is ...

Strange hard drive failure
I had my laptop hard drive fail on one section (I think). What happened next was the interesting part.
I had what looked like thermwood twd code pasted all over the screen and could not get rid of it. My IT guy is looking at the pc, but but he said he had never seen what I was doing before. Thats ...

Re: tenon % thickness VS. TWD thickness
Tim,
A few more things if you are running a 'bot
Are you zeroing to the spoil board or the top of the material? Top of material will give more eratic results.
Is your zero plate correct in your settings thickness as compared to checking it with a caliper?
Both of these could mess you up too ...

Re: Shopbot link window size
In the thermwood control nesting there is a place you can go into the ini file and change the font size.
Is that possible with the shopbot link to change the font size and make the window size larger?

Re: Shopbot link window size
Rick, I lowered it to 1200 x 1600 from the max at around 1900. It helped a little but not much.
I lowered it all the way and it messed up my desktop and re-arranged all my icons.
I don't really want to rebuild my pc. I just want a button to maximize the window so I can work with a full screen ...

Re: Shopbot link window size
That helps a touch Gary, but still the window is only 25% of my screen. All other window's programs allow you to maximize or even drag arrows to change the window size.
I thought maybe I was missing something.

Re: Shopbot link window size
Thanks for the idea Kerry, but no luck
I clicked till my finger got tired, but nothing happens. lol
I can right click there and it will let me close the box, but not maximize it.

Shopbot link window size
On one of my laptops, the shopbot link window opens very small. There are no maximize windows, and it won't let me drag the box out to be bigger.
It is on a dell 9400 with XP.
I am wondering if anyone knows a way to make the window come up larger.
Thanks

Re: Desinging Multiple Cabinets
open cabinet batch.
Select the cabinet
When it gives you the chance to change sizes, you can also change quantities.
enter 50
click on the nest or cut list, whatever you want to see.

It doesn't bother me to much, but I would vote for some shortcut keys.
