After finally getting my strings-and-cans to stay connected for 2 1/2 hours, I finally have 4.1.3... now all I gotta do is get time to install it.

Hey, that'll be my new-year's resolution.

That's right, her phone call cost her 5 minutes of spray-time! We're a 4-person shop, all family. (In other words, 4 bosses...LOL) Sell, design, build, and install everything. So it does get tough to make the scheduling work when A) We have an install to do, B) There is another one in the shop we ne...

Good one Brian, I wish I could vote more than once! Got one sitting in the shop right now that is late because the customer will NOT call to confirm her hardware choices. Finally we get back our sample book with no less than 20 pieces of tape in it marking her choices and not a clue as to what goes ...

Hey Mike, since I see you're still in the forum, do you get Cabinet Maker magazine? If so, have you gotten the October issue? I haven't received it yet, and since I've been having probs with someone stealing my mail, was wondering if I have missed it or if they just haven't shipped it yet. Been look...

No way, you'll get the old rattly Porter Cable RO sanders. That's more of a \"trick\" than a \"treat\"... heheh

Thanks Brian. I've always been a fool for Chevelles... someday I hope to get a '67 convertible. Definitely hang on to your El Camino! These days it's better to have an asset like that than cash, because our \"cash\" isn't worth too much anymore.

Hey Dan, kudos on the fun topic! I love seeing what others do for fun. That's some amazing stuff, folks. I'm into cars as well, mostly 60's & early 70's Chevy muscle cars, also like drag racing them. Also music, drums and guitar, and have wanted forever to build a guitar but can't find the time!...

Yeah, it would be handy indeed to be able to look \"up\". Oftentimes I'd like to show someone the underside of an upper cabinet or something similar, and the best that can be done is an oblique view. I wonder if we can add that to the wish-list...

Tom, that's truly a \"great\" room! Those are superb presentations. Tons of attention to detail, even a ceiling. Now all we can hope is that you're getting paid what it's worth...

Peter, I'm sure you already know this, but just in case! In the Line Drawing Editor you can \"manually number\" the assemblies by clicking the text-entry button on the toolbar and type the numbers in, and use the arrows to point to the cabinets if need be. I do this for assemblies a lot. L...

Peter, have you looked in the Customer 3D Files section of this forum? LOTS of neat stuff there. As for the numbering of assemblies, they are numbered, just slightly differently. If you have 2 cabinets and 2 assemblies in a room, with each assembly comprised of 2 cabinets, then on the cutlist and ne...

I hear ya Mike. I grew up in this business and will pit my carpentry/cabinetry skills against anyone, but that is an entirely different ballgame from the money end of it. Profit has always seemed to be a \"dirty word\" to me, and that's something I am most definitely trying to get away fro...
