Converting a 3D DXF to STL
I have a Kohler sink that has a 3D DXF file. I was able to load it into AutoCAD and then render it and it is a good representation. I have tried a few online conversion programs, I get the STL file and load it into Display Part Editor. When I get it in there it is no longer hollow. The bowl is fille...

3D Settings for NVIDIA card
I have the M3000M Quadro card in my Dell Precision 7710. The NVIDIA card has their control panel and in that is the Manage 3D Settings area. Anyone have ideas how this should be setup for eCabs? There are many variables to play around with, some I recognize and others I don't. Anyone have settings t...

Re: Program lags when opening seed cabinet directories
I don't run AV. And I use Firefox as my browser. I leave IE naked because my Firefox is loaded with apps.
Only way I know how to change directories is using the change button.

Program lags when opening seed cabinet directories
I have a new laptop. Dell Precision 7710, i7 6820HQ @2.7Ghz (3.6Ghz boost) and I'm running a NVMe M.2 SSD which is about as fast as you can get in a hard drive. Quadro M3000M w 4GB for my video card. When I go to fetch cabinets out of my seed directories I go to the cabinet editing area and go to th...

Re: Crown moulding length
Wouldn't you want the overall length. If you listed the mounting length then you would be short on molding.

Re: eCabinet Productivity
Rendering performance is strictly CPU driven. So you would need a faster speed processor. Since the program doesn't use multiple cores, it's just brute force speed.

I use Paint Shop Pro to do the same thing. Lasso select then invert the selection and cut or delete.

Re: Removing the gradient back ground from the presentation
That's cheating. I thought you had something interesting on how to erase the gradient. ![Mr. Green ](./images/smilies/icon_mrgreen.gif)

Re: eCabinet Productivity
I process face frames. Put the cabinet in the line drawing editor and use the top view. Put it into parts mode and draw a square around everything but the face frame, click hide. Hit the cabinet button and surround the cabinet and then hit reset view and the cabinet will flip front view. Go into par...

Re: Door Editor
It does the exact same thing on both of my cards, the M3000M and the onboard video. I can force the computer to use one or the other and in both cases it does the exact same thing. I don't really think it's a video driver thing.

Door Editor
I'm having issues with the door editor. I go to the editor and then hit the choose 'door/drawer selection' and the door selections come up. I choose Conestoga and it should then come up with the STANDARD choice, but it doesn't. So I click on the drawers and then back to the doors and then it shows u...
