I am getting flip operations on a G2S parts that only have machining operations on one side. Is anyone else getting the same thing. The issue started with CN 5.74. The same cabinet was run on 5.73 with no issue. I've attached it to the post. The pocket on the drawer fronts are machined as flip.
I still have the problem. I am really punctual on the latest upgrades 'cause every time I hope it'll fix my problem. Still no luck. Had no issue under XP. It started happening in W7. Although there's one thing I need to check and that is if it happens on both screens. I have dual 24" and I always ...
Artcam is also a good option and a company that Thermwood works with. It really depends which way you want to go - the more artsy type of 3d machining or the more engineer oriented type. At one point I was interested in Artcam I believe the whole package was about 10K which I though was extremely ...
I can definitely use this feature. I managed to make eCabinets to show the blind dado construction on the sides as well but when the drawer is added the blind dado is still only present on the bottom of the box attaching to the drawer front. There must be a bug or something in here.
I found out something but it doesn't seem to work completely. I made the bottom blind dado into the drawer front but I can't do it with the sides.
In my drawer box designer I remove the drawer box front and set the bottom to blind dado into the front. I set the same for the left and right sides ...
In the new release there's an option "Allow drawer box construction to drawer front when drawer box front does not exist". I can't find that one. Where is it?
We all have our manufacturer unapproved techniques, just to get the job done. I don't think I've ever said I can't do anything on our 4 axis machine. It's about time to take the trip to a 5 axis territory.
We should start a topic on "What's the weirdest or hardest thing you've managed to machine ...
That was fast Josh. Thanks for the reply - very clear and helpful. I agree with you. I will be working with the save/load option from file menu. I will create 3 settings and tool groups.
There are a couple of things I don't really understand but which I can really use. My questions relate to being able to load and save tooling info as I have three different material types that I use different settings on tools.
Let's say 95% of all cutting on the machine uses the same set up in ...
the first one probably was. I remember Bob brought it over.
If CNC Automation has it then probably you can get from them or Thermwood. Royce Ayr makes them in Canada. I think Onsrud makes them in the States but make sure you get the right one because they have two types. Rebuilding it costs ...
Zach, we use diamond dovetail bit and it takes forever to get dull. We cut our dovetail drawer boxes out of 1/2" Russian birch. When it gets dull I just send it for rebuild(re-tipping). I think I send it back once a year or something like that. All our drawer boxes are dovetail and we cut a ton of ...
