Rick - I like the example you show - i am slowly accepting the idea of beveling the front sides so the door can overlay. (I guess you can't represent this in ecabs though) Didn't want to go in that direction since I'll have to add something to the inside sides so there won't be this sharp edge when ...

I took a look at your web site - looks like a lot of solid wood product. Nice work by the way. But you said your getting into more custom built-ins which I assume means more panel stuff.
Obviously production sharing is a good option - but there's always that loss of control to deal with. Like for ...

Wow thanks a lot for the brain storming. below are two images of what I'm doing. It's the sides of the corner cabinet that are throwing me off here - I am not able to hide 26\" of my 30\" tall sides because I'm only attaching 4\" tall pencil drawers to the top L+R sides of the corner base. So I have ...

Kind of a broad question here.
You'll need to determine what kind of work you'll be doing most. It will come down to the type of product your selling that will ultimately lead you toward purching a slider saw or even a cnc. What is the amount of work you'll be doing? What kind of material do you ...

Thanks Chris for the helpful info and example...but I'm stilll struggling with this corner cab. I think i'll just have to put it down on paper for now to show the customer what I'm doing all this time. Part of the learning curve I guess. Still trying to figure out how to get this door to work. My ...

Working on a frameless corner base cabinet with an angled front. Looking from the top, the two sides have front edges at 90 deg. This is good - but I can't seem to apply a door to this cabinet. The door seems to run into the sides. The door actually needs to be set away from the top and deck by 3/4 ...

Actually yes. I still can't get multiple areas to be selected for equalizing space between partitions and shelves. Got a wired keyboard too - no change though - still can't select those multiple areas. Just got frustrated fiddling with it so much and went to good ole math on a calculator. Then I ...

equalizing spaces in the partition editor
I have been trying to equalize spaces between 4 partitions in a cabinet. I've done it before easy but cannot now. The help manual says to put in partitions then select all the spaces with ctrl and left click, and then hit equalize. My problem is that I can't select more than one space. If I hold ...

Having an issue with saving jobs. For some reason when i \"save a jop as\" i can't open it up again later. The job saves as an .hsf file and i can view the file in a folder, but when i click to open it up it brings me to the \"what would you like to do?\" screen. Don't know why this would happen ...
