Hey Nick, Thanks for the reply. I have plenty of tool holders and alot of holes to drill per sheet plus its a special bit with a flare at the top to inset the fitting flush. It would be nice to bore for a hinge when I have to start cutting the doors for this customer. I already have 5,8, and 10mm bi...

Routing for RTA's

Hi All,

Is anyone useing a 20 mm bit to punch a single hole for a KD fitting? I'm just curious before I purchase one if the router will pick it up and use it. What about hinge holes and a 32mm bit will the router use that?

Thanks

Thank you Thermwood,

I got everything straight and the tool holders work well. I already need more. Guess I'll just have to buy another machine.

Thanks again to Jeff and Dan in the retrofit department,

Tool holder upfit problem

Thermwood or anyone else, Just mounted my 7 tool holder upfit in placement of 4 bar style holders and have a problem. The holders are 1.5\" lower than the originals and the router envelope won't allow the Z axis to go low enough to pick up a tool. Now I know that I can change the Z bounds setti...

I don't really have a setup. My guys are all skilled enough to know most of the time which is which. Although sometimes they'll band the wrong side of a white shelf. I guess if I hire a flunky I'll have to do something else.

I also have been meaning to post about this issue. I thought that this feature used to be in rolling nest. Was there not a red line on the face side of the label? If not I guess this would be a request for V5 along with the edgebanding feature.

Thanks

Rob,

I beleive as long as your new tool is not larger than the old tool plus added part spacing dimension it should be fine. Example (old tool .355 + spacing of .05 =.405 leaving room for up to that size tool.)

Please someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Bill,

I have a 5x12 table but I buy alot of 5x8 white 1S mdf for backs so I just use these and add a 4x5 peice on the end. Also do many of you find it nessasary to fly both sides? We have always cut only 1S at time and never had issues. We do however have 24/7 climate control.

Hello again, Thanks Brian, I kinduv figured that out. What I had done is referenced from the wrong side of the table. We run other programs that operate from the opposite side and I knew that the labels where supposed to go in the bottom left but when I walk to the other side I figured putting them ...

Jason, To be honest I'm not used to using labels and this is the first job in a long time to have them. When facing the router from the control side I'm placing them in the top right hand corner. This is a large job with only about 10 flips and some are working out. I'm going to run the other flips ...

Jason, The labels match the parts fine but the flips don't line up as if I put the label in the wrong place. For instance a part that had shelf holes on both side (and should have drilled thru by the way) when flipped the holes don't line up. It drills as if the part where turned 180 degrees. Any th...

Thanks Jason,

Also has the label location changed with 4.89 because my labels are not lining up with the flip op's.

Thanks

Flip op's call # doesn't exist

Hello again,

Just have an issue with flip op # being different than than the call #.

Example(Call # M82L56) (actual parts # M80L56)

So obviously it won't call it up. Any ideas.

Thanks
