"Following error Z axis"
Hi all, Our machine just did this again to us this morning. It just stops. It happened a month or so ago, but after shutting down then re-starting it ran fine. Anyone know the cause of this issue and what might have to be looked at? Thank you.

Re: Rebates with lip cutouts
Thanks for the replies. I tried Kerrys method as it seems easiest for me and it sort of worked. It did the through cut and then picked the 6mm bit out and proceded to to do the rebate part at about 5 inches per minute and went down in just over .5mm increments. ( about 26 steps to get down 13mm in t...

Re: drag lines
OK may not be the answer you are after, or even the right one for that matter, but running integrated graphics - your intel HD Graphics - is quite probably be the cause of your problem. Try: - newest graphics drivers - lowering screen resolution - reduce hardware acceleration - failing that get a co...

Rebates with lip cutouts
I need to know, because I've come across this situation so many times. I am doing a through cut in a piece of 32mm and then it has an11mm lip that a piece of board sits on the through cut is fine, but the router then wants to hog out the whole centre section to leave me with the 11mm lip. Is there a...

Re: Set of draws that won't nest
Thanks Daniel. This gets stranger. Just went to nest another job with draws in it. Throws up the same error. This time it is just standard white board. However if I turn off the 6 separate draw slabs in the job and turn on 1 draw slab and make 6 of them it nests fine. I see you are running the same ...

Set of draws that won't nest
Hi all, Ive made a set of draws, that no matter how many times I nest it or change configurations, it will not nest on the CNC - Array out of limits error-. It nests fine in Ecabs. Weirdly enough if i turn off the top two or bottom two draw slabs it will nest in control nesting, but will not nest wi...

Re: Buying a new PC
Sorry to highjack but I build systems, so at the moment, I'd look at Win 7 ultimate - a high end core i7 - 8-16 gig min ram with highest latency - an SSD - and a high end Quadro video card available. Also, 2 x 22-24 inch monitors. Very similar to what I'm running at the moment minus the SSD. 3 grand...

Installing over a network
Sorry it's probably been asked a lot before, but can Ecabs or even library, materials etc.be installed on on nasbox or server and then all the other computers link back to that. We now have 5 computers running Ecabs and the Librarys are on each computer and of course changes get made to one library ...
