Re: Program Crashes with slanted walls
Kerry,
Thank you, I'm a great fan of your renderings and have learnt alot by reading your posts.
That and all the display objects that you and others generously provide, plus a few of my own and a room can really come to life.
Great people great software.
Thanks
Bryan

Dont throw the computer away just yet!
Brad You don't have to start with a standard cabinet. If you wanted you could start by loading a display object. Or you could create a display cube and take it to the part editor. Think of creating your piece of furniture out of a collection of indivitual parts, like you would in your workshop, rath...

Re: Melamine Cabinets
For example, the only cabinet I'd buscuit in the attached job would be the RH side of the bottom shelf in the microwave cabinet. The rest would be screwed together. The panels then get screwed on from the inside of the cabinet..

Re: Melamine Cabinets
WIth that one I'd use a combination of biscuits and screws. Screw together the cabinets that aren't seen, purely because its quicker assembly, and biscuit the areas that need it only.
Hope this helps

Gary
It depends on what you are doing. We use a variety of fixtures. From RTA cam and dowel, biscuits, to screw and stick on cap or just screw and an end panel.
We do a variety of product from kitchens through to RTA furniture.
What is it that you are making?

Re: Presentation View Problems
Hi
Sorry about the delay in replying
I don't know if I'm missing something but I just zoomed out to get the full wall in the render.
I agree that it is probably a fault of some kind, and I don't know what it is.

Re: Version 6.1
Count my vote in!!!! I could save Thermwood a lot of time as well. We all use ecabinets in a slightly different way, though the LDE seems to be a common gripe. Anyway, getting the community opinion and then Thermwood weighing it up with the benifits to the overall would be an efficiant way to guide ...
