Is it possible to add drawer boxes to a room layout versus for a cabinet? I need to make drawer boxes that are not part of any of the cabinets in my room layout.

On another note; is there a way to add drawers to a room layout, outside of a cabinet? I need to make some drawers that don't belong to any cabinets in a layout project.

I just ended up deleting the back, saving the cabinet, adding the back and then it would adjust for me. Not sure why it refused to adjust.

I don't know if it's me or something in eCabinets. I'm trying to inset the back of this cabinet .75" or the thickness of the top. For some reason, I can't make any adjustments to inset the back by the required amount.

Is there something I'm missing that is not allowing me to make the adjustment ...

Could also be flex in the machine. My Shopbot is notorious for being a pretty flexible (not in a good way) machine. Doesn't matter how much I keep it tuned up. It's interesting because this happened on only one cabinet in a job of 16 cabinets. I have no clue why it happened only on this cabinet. When using this editor, I chose slab doors and drawer fronts. When I add drawers, image 2 is what happens. Is there a way to rotate the grain of the wood 90 degrees.

In the designer dialog there is a "Preview Size" for height and width. I've searched the help files and can't find these mentioned ...

Those intermittent issues are a real pain to find. I understand. It certainly doesn't stop a user from working. I normally just move the dialog off the bottom of the screen out of the way and keep going.

I get that regularly too. I don't think I'm ready to take the step Kerry did and get a new computer to make it go away. Obviously a bug in eCabs software somewhere. I'll let them fix it...

Good question. I have the same problems. If I have PE cuts on my end panels and decide to remove or add a toe kick, all my end panel PE cuts get deleted. I'm not sure why this happens. Maybe Clint can explain?

Thanks Kerry. Yes, this is what I've been seeing happen. It is certainly very different trying to change parameters on an angled corner cabinet versus a square cabinet. So many parameters interact, independent of parameters the user changes.
