Hi Scott,
Thanks for the fast reply! I had unchecked the add slides option in the construction parameters, before adding the drawer, but never tried the context menu. Since I was ordering the drawers anyway, I simply deleted it from the cabinet before cutting.
Now I know where to look!
Thanks ...

Drawer front adding slide holes?
Hi all,
When adding a drawer front to a cabinet (no drawer box) eCabinets seem to add what might be drawer slide holes? It adds 5, 5mm holes to both the left and right ends. I don't see anywhere in the settings that this is enabled. Any insights?
Thanks and best regards,
Ron

v6.2 dimensions
Is there any way to reposition the dimensions in the new version? Both the elevation view and scaled print have overlapping dimensions in this instance.
Thanks,
Ron

Re: Shelf pin holes not cutting
Sorry. my own oversight. I had forgotten that I had checked the "No Drilling" option on the last job. I love feeling like an idiot first thing in the morning!

Shelf pin holes not cutting
My shelf pin holes show up in the Shopbot link, but doesn't output them to the machine. They are 0.1969" (5mm) holes. I have a tool setup at that size marked as a drill operation.
My first thought was to change the tool to 0.1968". I have a 0.001" tolerance set. No joy - still not outputting the ...

Hi Scott,
Thanks for the reply. That's what I did, but just found it interesting that the scribe was used, even though the stile was deleted. Seems like a bug to me...

Outside scribe changes cab dimensions
I searched for this, but didn't find anything. I just noticed it for the first time, yesterday. Designing left and right base cabs for a closet (just mirrored versions of the same cab), the construction setting stipulated 1.25" outside scribe for the left and right stiles. Even though each side only ...

Thanks Don,
Interesting idea about wrapping the vacuum piping! I will give that a try, if standard ground rules fail me!

Ron

Re: Shopbot Link looses zero to table after bit change
Thanks for the replies. I`ll double check my grounding. I did recently add a vacuum hold down system to the machine, but no other issues have shown up. Runs fine otherwise.

Ron

V6.2 wall elevation dimensions
I really like the new dimension options in the new version, and the scaled print. However, everything works perfectly on 3 walls of my job, but one wall displays the cabinets, but the only dimensions are for the wall, itself. Same in the scaled print view.

Shopbot Link looses zero to table after bit change
Several times, after a bit change in the Shopbot Link, the software looses the Zero to table parameter. Twice, I had it cut into the table. Now I keep a close eye on it, and have to cancel and restart the job when it happens. Doesn't always happen, but way too often to feel comfortable trusting it ...

Thanks Ralph,
It was the grain direction - I forgot that the generic 3/4" material in eCabs has grain specified, so I was checking, "none" in the link!
Best regards,
Ron

Add Sheet(s) ShopBot Link
Hi,
I have a quick question. If I add a small sheet to a job to cut a single piece, how do I get it to nest on that sheet? After adding a 17.5" x 24" sheet, accepting it, and returning, I see no way to use that sheet to nest a single part - It continues to nest on the full sheet, which is an issue ...

Clint,
Must have been something in the Job File. I deleted the cabinet from the job and re-added it. Now it is working, correctly.

Ron

Re: PE holes not cutting
Hi Clint,
Thanks again for the fast response. Interesting that interpolation has to be turned off for all the tools for it to work.
Another issue with this cabinet I just noticed, which may or may not be related, is that when generating the twd file, I get errors if I try to change material ...
