I just switched to force software rendering and it render on screen again. ¿does that mean it is not using the GPU anymore?
¿what's the use of higher end hardware if it doesn't use it ?

Ensure that you have the latest available graphics driver installed for you graphics card. Not through Windows, but rather from the card manufacturer's website.

I just changed to win 7. And I am getting the screeen full of dots in line drawing editor at any zoom level, and I have grid turned off and the dots don't go away.

All this time I thought I was at home, it must have been 4 years ago or more that I clicked on the pulls sub-directory and because the program stays where you last left it, after all this time I never thought there was a home to go to !!! :oops:

I have found a solution how to change the angle of view, but it works only in rendering mode, not in the line drawing editor.
In plan view zoom out a bit, then change to render mode, then zoom back in and voila! The more you zoom out the wider view angle you get. If the zooming out is too much ...
