Jason, the simple answer you are looking for is NO. You can't manually alter the hinge positions.
You can eother:
a) Increase the distance from the bottom edge of the door to the bottom hinge. This will slightly vary the spacing and in some case may help.
b) manually add the boring via the part ...

Re: Drawer Front Fixing Bracket Holes for Metal Sided Drawers
Excellent that the performance of the program is the main concern for the next update.
It is a shame however that the programmers don't have to deal with metal sided drawers in custom cabinet applications on a daily basis, because if they did, they would realise that they would get their biggest ...

you mentioned: The possibility of creating a joint that uses blind dado and pilot holes automatically might come in the future.
This is all I believe is required. It would seem unlikely anyone would want a blind dado along with a CAM/RTA type fitting. Without think too hard to assemble a ...

Have you actually tried to cut it anyway?
I have seen things like this in the past with a variety of other systems and sometimes despite the graphics, they actually do cut properly.
Would you let me know.

Re: Rafix with Dados?
create seed cabinets with dados.
then manually add screw holes via part editor
constrain them
the only problem is that the qty won"t change with cabinet size changes like it would with KD/RTA settings
My suggestion is that the programmers allow us to use both KD/RTA joints AND dados ...

Re: Base Angle Cabinet
No it only has a door on the angle, but it does have two fixed panels in the two faces adjacent to the door. These were added as display parts.
Hope this helps

Is this the sort of cabinet that you mean?
It was created with a corner cabinet, yet it is used to finish a run of cabinets (at the entry to the room, not back in one of the corners) Here is another

Re: Base Angle Cabinet
You have started with a standard cabinet. Start with a corner cabinet instead.
Then go into the construction settings and under the Corner settings, you can tell it to have an angled front.
It should all become self explanatory from there.

Re: Poll: Save part editor work with doors and drawer fronts?
The second reason I voted yes was related to the issue of the drilling for door and drawer pulls.
I believe that this reason needs a little more discussion in this area:
- whilst it would be brilliant to be able to have the holes for pulls survive a door/drawer change, one would need to consider ...

Re: Poll: Save part editor work with doors and drawer fronts?
As Neville mentioned, this is a highly desirable feature especially for those people using metal sided drawers.
The problem is that in order to partially work around the problem front fixing hole issue, we need to create part editor cuts with contraints to place the drawer front fixing clip ...

Re: Part Editor
I have experienced similar things on parts many times. I think it has something to do with a programming memory leak.
I'd bet that you were working within ecabinets for quite some time without exiting eCabinets prior to this happening?
Try:
- remove part editor cuts from top
- Save job
- Close ...
