That helps a lot Kerry. I'm just one of those guys that isn't satisfied with just knowing, I need to understand what I know. I should be able to get somewhere now.
Dan, nope no relation that I'm aware of. I'm in East TN. Most of the "Pyle"s come from England. My g.grand father changed our spelling ...

Re: door editor help
Thanks for the screen shots Kerry. I played with the reveals as per your suggestions, and eventually got the desired front sizes. But this method of trial and error seems awkward and un-intuitive. It'd be nice to understand how the software uses all the reveal settings to get the correct door size ...

Re: door editor help

I tried a different door and the sizes work out. The design share/Conestoga 1/32 increments make since. I thought I had chosen the CRP10. I'll pay closer atttention to that in the future.

Re: door editor help
Found this in the "Settings/Preferences" help:
"When working with fractions, for both input and display, the system only accepts and displays fractions down to 1/32 inch and all measurements are rounded to the nearest 1/32 inch. If you need tighter dimensions than this, use the "Inches and Decimal ...

door editor help
I'm in process of building my cabinet library. When I add a door to a cabinet it isn't the right size, based on my reveals. For instance, on a cabinet 508mm wide, 1.5mm reveal L and R, the door should be 505mm wide. But when I check the size of the door I've just added, it is "504.83 (Min. Inc. 0 ...

Re: new to eCabinets help
Thanks guys. That's the kind of answers I was hoping to get--the intial set up process. Since I've been watching the videos and playing around with the different operations, it shouldn't be too difficult, just take a little time.

Re: new to eCabinets help
Thanks for responding.
Jean, yes, the videos do a very good job of teaching you how to edit and save cabinets. I have learned how to do this.
Wally, so are you suggesting to develop the library AND the materials database at the same time or do one then the other?

new to eCabinets help
So I've been playing with eCabs (v6 build 4) for a couple of weeks now, watching the online training videos, and have read pretty much the entire help file. I can do most all of the basics -- make rooms, add/edit cabinets, etc. But the thing I haven't yet found either in the videos or on the forum ...
