Re: Cnc is loading jobs slow and slow in general
Yeah, I clear the list, hit ok, then exit out of nesting to the main thm screen and then open up nesting and load a new job.

Re: Cnc is loading jobs slow and slow in general
Try breaking up your jobs into smaller batches. Also, clear the load list, close the nesting and then open it again between batches. That seems to help me anyhow.

Re: Output an image to popup with AFL
Not sure about AFL but you could prob. write a script w/ autohotkey that could do something like that.

Re: Better Renderings
I really wish Ecabinets had an stl export feature so I could do rendering/ mock-ups in other programs that specialize in rendering. For now I just end up redrawing things in Sketchup and use a render plug-in. I like using Maxwell Fire b/c it's easy but there are all kinds of plugins to try out and ...

Weird problem w/ control updates and outline method
Just wondering if this is a glitch or just how outlines are handled in the latest control nesting version; but it seems that from control nesting 5.79 and on-wards I'm having issues with cutting through outlines without the code leaving a thick onion skin that is cut as a separate set of operations ...

Re: Does anyone use Vcarve Pro?
Cool, I thought about doing this before but never had enough time to get around to it. I just try to not use resharpened tooling except for one changer position that I use specifically for the expensive 3/8" resharpened compression bits or down spirals; and I only used that for one off jobs that I ...

Re: Mirroring A Cabinet
It would be useful for custom non-symetrical cabinets where you need to have a left and a right version, would save a lot of time when doing custom work.

Re: Switchspoil Issue, Please Help.
Maybe try re-sizing the machine if you haven't already? You can also edit the macro with notepad, doesn't have to be done via THM interface.

Was the program generated from an ecabinet file or dxf?

I think arcs need to be incremental instead of absolute.

What program are you trying to design it in? Ecabinets? Or are you just using dxf importing?

Re: Hardware Hole Editor - Drill Operation or
If the machine has a 5mm drill set up @ the machine in the control nesting settings then it will try and drill with that, otherwise it will pocket it with the next possible tool.

Re: jagged arcs
In Draftsight and Autocad you can explode all the text into individual lines. Once they're sploded you can select a set of connected lines that you think should be arcs then pedit them into on polyline and then pedit again this time choose the fit option and it (the polyline) should now be made of ...

Re: Shelf holes in cabinet backs
Never though about doing it this way but one way that might work would be to add the adjustable shelf as a "fixed" shelf and use rta hole pattern on all 3 sides. You'll have to set up a hole pattern that is one hole center and however many above and below it but I think that should work? I don't ...

Re: Z axis retracting problem
Check your pop up pins, I've had the sensor on them come loose before so even though the pins were going up and down the machine "thought" they were still up which throws the machine into e-stop.
