home key in part editor
Home key in the closed contour mode just takes you to zero, zero instead of zooming out, is this new or some kind of error, I have to go back into part editor to zoom out, I'm sure it wasn't like that before the update. Makes working close up in closed contour pretty much impossible.

Cutting Rubber mats
anyone ever try cutting rubber? I was approached by a car dealership to cut rubber mats for truck beds due to no availability. I'm apprehensive, I think it would require a up cut bit, but also all the rubber residue around my table and in my dust system would be a concern(probably too hot for dust ...

cutting without outline cuts
I have 48x96 sheets that I need to cut a series of slots in(for cement forms), the sheets must be kept to true size 48 x 96, but if I turn off outlines my slots end up in the wrong location(off by the amount removed in an outline cut).
Is it possible to cut the slots without doing a perimeter cut ...

Re: Head out of alignment
Well I just got through the process again, and tightened everything up a bit more than i usually would. The head is zeroed and I think it will stay that way unless there is a pretty severe spin out. Next time I'll take the plate off and check those t-bolts. Thanks Clint

Head out of alignment
OK, some moths ago I did something stupid. I left a small piece of melamine on the table while doing a flycut, it wasn't a total disaster or anything but it did put the head out of alignment. After a call to Thermwood I got it fixed by loosening the 4 allen head bolts and adjusting the head back to ...

Re: Write CNC stalls
So how does this work with the desktop version, I nest the job on my office PC and then just load that file onto the CNC? How about adding offalls and such?

Write CNC stalls
Hi Guys, just putting this out there for some general feedback.
Our write CNC has been stalling(crashing) on almost every job lately. Our batches are generally about 20 - 30 sheets and typically all white melamine with maybe 2 sheets of some veneered pieces. We are running a CS-43 with windows XP ...

Locking cabinet menu
Is it possible to lock the sidebar cabinet menu, I like it in thumbnail view with the menu partition dragged over so i can see all the cabinets. everytime i change folders, or even select a cabinet it resets the view.

Close call today, CNC fire
Ok, I was cutting some 3/4 euro ply today(the really densely layered stuff). I was cutting 30 inch circles with a 1/4 inch hole in the center. The entire cut took less than 2 minutes. When the CNC machine drilled the 1/4 inch hole the combination of the friction and the pumps drawing air through the ...

Surfacing tool getting caught on tool holder.
Been happening more and more. The blades on my surfacing tool keep hitting the positive stop sleeve and knocking the blades out of alignment, leading to an uneven surface...has anyone else had a similar issue?

part editor closed contor, line info
The line information has gone from the closed contour in the part editor? So if you draw a line and hover on it it used to give you the coordinates and the line length. Very handy for checking opening sizes. Seems to be gone now, is that right?
