Unfortunate side effect in the software. If we make it nest perfect in the corner on both axe,s nesting will be drastically slower. In Nesting Parameters, nesting in the Upper Left and Lower Right will force it all the way in the corner.
Ideally what you should have done is to use Nest to Edge of ...

Re: Is rendering playing up for anyone else?
Thanks Clint that worked! It seems a little slow but other than that does fine.
It did give me a warning that it may auto update when docking. Never seen that before.
Forrest,
Nvidia has released a driver update Monday that looks to have fixed the issue. I tried it on my laptop and rendering ...

Re: add new empty sheet off fall bug
Do you by chance have your off fall set as Save Only in Settings for the group your part is in? Trying your steps with Cut Full Perimeter I'm not seeing any issues.

Re: tool measuring issues
Tom,
Tool sensor is likely dirty or corroded. The machine moves down until the input for the tool sensor is unchecked, then retracts up until it is made. In this case, the input is already unmade so the machine just starts retracting up to make the input. You can try cycling the sensor up and down ...

Re: CN not using standard sheet sizes in addition to off-fall
Stuart,
Your Default group has Only Use Added/Off-Fall Sheets When Available checked. This group is being used for the 3/4 Melamine Frosty white material in the job your export contained. When that option is checked, Control Nesting will only nest on added or off-fall sheets.
There is still an ...

Password should be toolman. If that doesn't work, get in touch with CNC Automation and they can get you default password files.

Stuart,
Seems like an odd one. Can you send and export from Control Nesting to program@thermwood.com Attn Clint?

Jeremy,
Should be good now. Probably got broken when we migrated the site a good while back. I checked on mine, was able to upload one, delete it, re add it back on.

Re: Is rendering playing up for anyone else?
Good deal. I'll revisit this post when I get information about a permanent fix. I haven't used a dock with this laptop, but my office mate uses his when in office. Between updates for it, Windows updates, and Dell Command updates, someone is bound to overwrite the installed driver for a "better" one ...

Forrest,
What driver version are you using from Nvidia? You can find it by right clicking on your desktop, choose Nvidia Control Panel. If you are on Windows 11 you'll need to do Show More Options to see it. Then go to Help, and System Information.

Re: 2 trim edge flip op question
Thomas,
It goes past the edge of the sheet based on how much your Lead amount is set to in Flip Ops First to make sure the entire edge has been trimmed. It starts past so the entire edge has the same cut direction, and we have to trim the entire edge because we don't know if someone is using a flip ...

Re: Machine Reporting and Job History
Yes and no. You can export the Program Timer History from the Control Options menu. That will generate a .csv file for the last 30 days or so of programs run. You can add header and footer code that would do similar to the post you linked, writing information to a text file. You can use OPC ...
