Re: Eye candy

I would love to see all these, but I keep hearing about them the day after when everyone is posting pictures on Facebook. I did hear about the comet the day before, then promptly forgot to put it on my calendar as a reminder.

Re: Drawer parts not nesting as expected in phantom unit

Mark, I hadn't gotten the same error when you posted, but I went on the road for a couple weeks without posting back I see the same issue. I was able to do it with a standard cabinet and standard drawer box. Reported to the software engineers, I'll let you know if it isn't corrected for the next ver...

Re: Hardware Editor Not Cutting Rectangle Pockets / Cabineos

After spending a couple hours playing around with it and doing test cuts, basically it appears that for whatever reason ecabinets will not let you use rectangular holes/pockets with KD fastener joints. They work just fine for hinge locations (we bore out the front of the side panel behind the facef...

Re: Autolube air pressure comes on only when gantry is moving

Sean, Depending on the age of the machine, we had different scenarios when autolube comes on. Some machines it is when the machine is out of emergency stop, some machines it is when the spindle is running, and some machines, like in the case of yours, its only when the machine is motion. So it sound...

Re: Cabinet Vision DXF to Model 43

No development that I'm aware of, mostly just us keeping up with any changes Cabinet Vision makes in the background. Most Cabinet Vision dealers really try to shy away from the layered DXF approach, I think because of their lack of knowledge. If you shoot me an email to cabinets@thermwood.com, I can...

Re: Issues designing two piece MDF door

John, Something happened to this part along the way. We aren't entirely sure what, but we do know that there is data mismatch regarding the profile sweeps. If you remove the profiles and the pocket cut, then reapply everything, it should work as expected. Essentially part of the data says there is n...

Re: Z Axis Oscillation

Spoke with software engineers regarding it yesterday. Overall implementation in Control Nesting isn't difficult, but oscillation code really isn't used by anyone. I did some brief testing and there is work to be done on the G code itself. Software engineers are going to discuss in the next meeting t...

Re: control nesting 7.11 sheet display

Control Nesting update just released that should correct the issue https://www.thermwood.com/updates_contr ... g_home.htm. This was the only fix for this version so we could get it out without having to do a whole bunch of testing and delay release.

Re: Cabinet Doors Lose Parts Hen resizing

Tom, You can try closing eCabinets, navigate to C:\ProgramData\Thermwood\eCabinet Systems and delete DrawingsPrinterSettings.ref. Open eCabinets, reset you printer settings, then see if it works. Its hit or miss if that works, but its an easy try. If you print to PDF and the lines are there, we know...

Re: control nesting 7.11 sheet display

Double check to make sure your Screen Properties haven't gotten messed up. View, and then Screen Properties. If you just use the default colors in Control Nesting, choose the Defaults button in the bottom left. If you use custom colors, set Outline Color to 200 for all three. Click OK, close Control...

Re: Cabinet Doors Lose Parts Hen resizing

Tom,

I'd recommend starting with updating your graphics card driver from the website of the graphics card manufacturer. Nvidia would be here https://www.nvidia.com/download/index.aspx, AMD would be here https://www.amd.com/en/support/download/drivers.html.

Re: Reversing the x and y axis movents

David, There is not. There is far too much going on in the background for that to be an option. I assume your software is outputting positive X and Y commands, and you are using the corner opposite of home for your fixture offset. If that's all true, you have three options, organized difficult to ea...

Re: Older versions of control softare

Jeremy, Those would not have been available for web download, we didn't start that until 8.7. You would have had an upgrade CD, or CDs depending on how many upgrades you did over the version it left Thermwood with. If you can't find your CD, you can get in touch with service about getting one. -Clint-

Mark,

Sorry, missed a comma in there.

If you nest, write CNC, from standard view you'll only ever get resume and OK.
