APC Battery Backup Unit
Greetings all! Our battery backup unit has started to fail. First symptom was that the touchscreen monitor would randomly go dark, usually about once a day. We hooked up a spare monitor and began troubleshooting. After a while, we figured that we would possibly need to replace the monitor, but since...

Re: issue with intime kernel
I've had issues with intime before as well.
I modified the startup process to delay THM startup by 30 seconds to give intime a chance to start before THM. Never had issues since.

I personally never run the machine in nested base view, but that's just me.
If you switch to the other view by clicking here... you can see how deep the machine is currently cutting here...

Manual Nesting issues, etc...
Greetings all! I'm not sure when this issue first started, since I skipped several versions of Control Nesting. I installed v6.07 a few days ago. This morning I tried several times to manually move parts around in the nest, but when I pressed Alt+F11 to apply the nest, the program quit responding. A...

Re: Profile Modeler crashes THM when viewing parts
Sorry I forgot to mention that Clint helped me resolve this issue. Turns out that the culprit was our graphics card driver. After updating the driver, we have no longer had this problem.
Thanks a lot Clint!

Have you checked your Control Nesting settings? Maybe outline cuts are disabled.

Not sure if I'm understanding you correctly, but if you mean what I think you mean, look for the thumb tack icon and click to lock the sidebar in place.

Re: Close call today, CNC fire
My biggest fear is a spark getting into dust collector pipes. Especially if its a central dust collection system. Not only will the collector need repair, but you could also potentially be dealing with smoke damage throughout the entire shop... and water damage from the ensuing efforts to douse the...

Office 2010 Compatibility
Greetings all. Just wondering if there are any plans to make control nesting compatible with Excel files saved in Office 2010. The new file extensions are .xlsx, but importing an excel file into control nesting is currently limited to the old .xls files. We've developed a system in excel for our 5-p...

Re: How to get version 6.2
Will the download from the link above make me install the new version of ecab? Not in my experience. I've updated ecabinets several times by downloading from their website, and I never lost anything yet. This is the exact quote from their website: (Note: This is the full version of eCabinet Systems...

Re: Profile Modeler crashes THM when viewing parts
Does THM give you and option to send in a crash report or does it go to the Windows version of the software is crashing? THM gives us the option to send crash reports, which I have done twice. Also what version of THM are you on? 10.1.1.0 Can you post an export of a job that does it as well as the ...

Re: door not getting profilfed randomly
Noticed this issue the first time we attempted modeling doors after the latest control nesting updateWhen did you notice the issue? The sooner we know there is an issue, the sooner we can correct it.

I've noticed that sometimes too, where the program itself doesn't seem to know about updates being available.
You can download the update directly from this link:

Re: door not getting profilfed randomly
Thomas, We had the same problem, where doors were randomly not getting profiled. Are you using the latest version of Control Nesting? If so, TADA! Found your problem. Seems like Thermwood messed up something in that update. We rolled back to the previous version, and problem was solved. To roll back...
