Re: How do you change the waste board thickness without flycutting?
Mark, you've got me curious now. Sounds like I can learn something from you too. You mentioned adjusting for flip ops in Machine Variables. Could you explain that to me? I've been struggling with getting flip ops to align properly, and it sounds like you might have something to help me with that.

annoying CN bugs
FYI, we still occasionally get completely random offal generation when we manually move parts around in the nest. Also, sheet diagrams go completely bonkers when we manually move parts that contain profiling. would be GREAT to get these resolved

Re: How do you change the waste board thickness without flycutting?
Not sure if this helps. If not, just disregard. In Control Nesting, go to the CNC Settings dialog, and enable the "Ck Waste Board Every Sheet" checkbox. This will throw up a dialog before cutting every sheet, enabling you to enter a custom wasteboard thickness before cutting. just a though...

Re: Feature Request - Regarding Shared Bit Locations
I understand the difficulty... Maybe it would involve something like adding a checkbox in Tool Setup, where a tool can be designated as being a "multi-use" tool...

Feature Request - Regarding Shared Bit Locations
Just me thinking out loud again... We have several bits that share the same location. Usually, proper bit locations are sorted out before the operator starts a job. However, for example, there are times when the previous job ended with using Bit #219 from location #9, and the next job starts with Bi...

Re: CN Feature request
This feature already exists. It's called Roughing. If you turn Roughing on, it'll use whatever tool you specify to cut the first portion of the outline, then switch to your main outline tool to do the final pass. So in your situation, you could set up Roughing to use your current outline tool as the...

Re: Edit pocket depth
What I often do in this case is just manually change the daylight value of the pocketing tool at the machine. For example, to cut the pocket 1/2 inch deeper, add 1/2 inch to the daylight value of the pocketing tool. Just don't forget to change it back when you're done

CN Load Dialog Size
Greetings! I was just curious if something could be done about the size of the load dialog in CN. It's kinda small by default. I usually resize it to almost fill my screen, and it stays that way just fine. But only until I've used the Quick Cut program. After I've used Quick Cut to nest something, t...

***CRUCIAL BUG***
Since the last update, CN is no longer obeying Reverse Spindle. Double checked that Reverse Spindle is still enabled on the bit, slowed the spindle speed way down so I could do a visual check, and sure enough, the tool is spinning the wrong direction. Please fix asap. Will be rolling back to an olde...

Rectangular Optimization bugs
I'm really loving the new Rectangular Optimization feature in CN. Here are two bugs I've discovered so far. 1. Does not obey Priorities. When assigning different priority levels to different parts in the nest, the old Next X and Nest Y options both obey the assigned priority. The Rectangular mode do...

Re: 7.04 extra edgebanding images
Also, on a slightly related note, it would be neat if CN could have an option of prioritizing parts based on edgebanding. We always feed our parts through the edgebander as fast as they come off the CNC, and it saves the operator some frustration if he doesn't have to constantly be switching between...

7.04 extra edgebanding images
I'd be interested in obtaining this custom rpt.Extra edge banding images for multiple materials (requires custom rpt) (ADDED)
I currently use the RPT attached below. Could it be modified to support these extra images?
