Hi Clint,
Any updates? I sent the requested information in an email.
Thanks,
Jacob

Parts flipping on the X axis
We've recently updated our Thermwood to version 7.04. We're now noticing that some of dxf parts are being flipped such that the front becomes the back (Y axis when I view them in CAD, not sure if the machine coordinates are the same) which makes our labels completely wrong with the edgebanding callo...

Re: 7.04 extra edgebanding images
I am really interested in this as well. Is this CabinetVision only?Joshua Caron wrote:Is there an example of the new edgebanding images, and are they dictated from ecabs? The information would not be available from a .dxf output from CabinetVision?

Re: Updating Thermwood Software on Nest
Brad,
Thanks! I thought this was an "on" or "off", so I had it set to 1.
Just curious though, can we simply apply the latest update, or should we apply them all in order?
Many thanks,
Jacob

Multiple Material Sizes
I'm wondering if it's possible to specify 2 different material sizes to use for nesting. We get 7' x 9' sheets and have a 5' x 10' table so we end up cutting off 20" rips from the 7' x 9' sheets. The only way I can figure out how to nest using all the material (full 5' x 9' & 20" x 9')...

Updating Thermwood Software on Nest
We recently attempted to install the latest update, however, we're getting errors with dxf file lists; the parts are being imported on a "slant", not square to the material. We had to reverse from .26 to the last patch we had .23 to get it to work properly. I'm wondering if we need to appl...

Re: Custom Labels
Clint,
Thanks for the clarification. Is this something that I could fake the system out with or are there no options/plans for dxf part lists?
Thanks,
Jacob

Re: Custom Labels
Thanks Tim,
It seems most of the discussions revolve around eCabinets... We don't use that software, we just feed it a list of dxf files.
Does anyone know if it's possible to use Crystal Reports (like eCabinets) but with a dxf parts list?
Thanks,
Jacob

Custom Labels
We cut parts based on DXF parts lists. Is it possible to have custom labels with images for the parts? Can I list an image file in the partslist.csv? I couldn't find a way to do it in the manuals, not sure if it is possible. While we can specify edgebanding in the partslist.csv, it would be nice to ...

Re: backpocket not cutting
Clint, Thanks I'm going to try tomorrow I was doing some geometry changes because it didn't work before but maybe we've run an update where my "fix" has now broken things. You just reminded me of flipping geometries around that I'd forgotten about so I'll try reverting that and seeing if i...

Re: backpocket not cutting
Clint,
It wasn't showing the pocket on the backside operation on the Nest Overview... Was it in fact going to cut the backpocket? It didn't look like it was going to on the display.
I'll take another look at it.
Thanks,
Jacob

Clint,
I got the export and wrapped it with my partslist.csv & dxf files.

Re: backpocket not cutting
I'd start by specifying a tool / tool diameter. Since Thermwood introduced the ability to call a tool by name instead of diameter, that's how we've done it. For instance: the old way: pocket d9p5 z8p0 the new way: pocket z8p0 [3185] Either way, a tool is specified. Your code isn't specifying one, s...
