Re: Impact Resistant Head Sensor continuosly tripping
PLC does indeed show it to be the Z-axis feed module. SIEMENS SINAMICS FEED MODULE FAULT OR IMPACT RESISTANT HEAD TRIPPED(Via Profibus or Profinet) Z AXIS FEED MODULE FAULTED Fault1=7900 Flt2=0 Flt3=0 AbsPos=-0.0367 FE=0.0367 Managed to get it homed, then it faults while no motion is being applied.

Re: Impact Resistant Head Sensor continuosly tripping
Moving the head manually makes me think it's on the z-axis somewhere. I can move X,Y,B,C without incident, when I try to move the z-axis to its home position the sensor trips.

Re: Impact Resistant Head Sensor continuosly tripping
Scratch that. Determined that switch is normally closed. Bypassed it, to troubleshoot, and its still tripping. There must be another impact sensor I'm not seeing.

Impact Resistant Head Sensor continuosly tripping
I've been on this for 2 days :wall: . The system keeps telling the operators that the impact resistant head sensor is tripping while the head isn't near anything it can impact. The manual doesn't specify where the head sensor is, but I'm guessing its the roller switch that rides the top of the head ...

Re: G92 axis are reversed?
Aaron, (From HOME) G92 X-20 Y-15 (The current PART REFERENCE is now at an absolute machine position of X20 Y15.) This is the part I don't get, why setting a negative value results in a positive outcome: G92 X-20 becomes X20 ? As I said, Ive adjusted my thinking to account for this, I just don't und...

G92 axis are reversed?
Wondering if this is normal or not? Ive adjusted to it, but it seems very odd. For this example I will say X+ is LEFT Y+ is FORWARD and Z+ is UP. Lets say my current ZERO is set (X50 Y30 Z-13 B0) from home. If I cut my piece at this location and then use (G92 X10 Y0) followed by (G00 X0 Y0) the head...

Adding Input/Output
Id use the virtual service, but since I work 3rd shift I dont really have that opportunity.
Do we have to have a technician come out to add inputs/outputs to the board for electric air valves, vaccum, etc...

[AFL] Login script
While not entirely secure, this gives employers an opportunity to track employee progress. It gives each employee a unique login, logs what program theyre running, the time spent on said program, and time of logout. For larger company's the script can also help see if employees have loaded the wrong...
