Cutting Outlines too Deep

Hi, I was cutting a big job with our CS40 and seemingly randomly the machine will cut about 1/4" deep into the spoilboard. This is the second job it has happened to now, it was a fairly large job with 33 sheets nested and it happened on sheet 28. Every other operation works fine, but when it starts ...

Pocket operation not working correctly

I'm trying to make a frame with 2 pocket operations, one cut through and one slightly bigger, 1/2" deep. The cut through pocket works fine, but the second one is being cut with my 1/4 bit with a single pass which leaves a border that isn't cut. Is there a way to make 2 passes and/or use a larger bit ...

Re: THM Software Crashes With Jobs over 30 Sheets

Hi, sorry I totally forgot to reply before. You were right, the hard drive was pretty close to full so I ran defrag and cleared out some old files. Its running well again now.

Thanks

THM Software Crashes With Jobs over 30 Sheets

Hi, we have a CS-40 running Win 2000 Pro with control nesting v5.59 Patch 3. I am having trouble with a large job I am trying to cut out. I have about 36 sheets worth of cabinets for one job. I nested all 36 sheets, but when I click "Write CNC" it loads for a few seconds and then crashes. I get an ...

Re: CS40 Cutting Parts Slightly too Small

Yes you were right, I just replaced the bit with a new one that we got sharpened and it's laser measured. Its cutting exactly the right size now. The bit I had in before was a brand new 1/2" bit but I just measured it with a caliper and it is slightly smaller than 1/2". Now I'll be measuring each ...

CS40 Cutting Parts Slightly too Small

Hi, we have a CS40 and when I cut out parts from eCabinets, they all seem to be about 1/16" too small. When I nest the parts on the CNC it does show the right dimensions there as well, but when I measure the part its around 1/16" small. Is there some setting or something I'm missing?

Thanks

Re: THM.exe Crashes when Nesting

I just followed those steps and its working again! Just wondering, is there a link somewhere where I can download a new copy of the Supercontrol software itself? The previous owner cloned and replaced the HDD multiple times and I think some windows files are corrupt as well. I would like to try a ...

Re: THM.exe Crashes when Nesting

Hi Clint, thanks for your reply. I tried reinstalling Control Nesting, but it still does the same thing. Are there any specific folders I should delete before I reinstall it? I have version 5.59 Patch 3.

Thanks

THM.exe Crashes when Nesting

Hi, I have a CNC with the 91000 Supercontrol running windows 2000 pro. It was working just fine, until yesterday I tried to nest some cabinets. I can open the nesting menu, but when I click "Load" to open a twd file I get the error message "THM.exe has generated errors and will be closed by windows ...

Dimensions of an Assembly in Wall View

Is there a way to show the dimensions of an assembly in Wall view on a custom layout? Right now all the cabinets have dimensions except for my assembly. (see attachment)
