We work with worklist+dxf partlist option of control nesting. As part of our system, we have cabinet numbers as one of the columns in our worklist so it makes it easier to find which cabinet needs to have a recut in case where that's needed.
What I would like to see if having an option to sort by ...

Re: Control Nesting Part Placement Observations
We noticed this as well.
From my understanding, it nests parts largest to smallest and once a part has been placed, it does not revisit that part so you end up with very inefficient nests sometimes.
We have used a work around of changing priorities of parts which changes the order in which they are ...

Re: Drawbar not Working!
We had this issue and turns out we had to modify the coordinates of where the tool was being picked up and dropped off. It wasnt going low enough so sometimes it would work then other times it didnt.

Recut feature request
After a job has been written to cnc, a sheet list is displayed in the top right corner. By double clicking this, it shows you the list of parts with names and info.
I would like it if in this view, u could click on a part and ask it to be recut on the last sheet.
That way, as the job is being cut, a ...

Job level cut counter feature request
Hey. It would be nice if each sheet cut would be saved in a file that would keep track of which sheet was cut along with how many times it was cut.
Basically we have issues where sometimes the operator will forget which sheet they cut last when they come to work in the morning and if there was a pop ...

Re: Nest large to small outside in
I have the ability in some other software to nest the larger parts on the outside edges of the sheet with the smaller parts on the inside. This greatly reduces the risk of them moving. Would be a nice addition.

worklist csv material name issue
in the worklist file, you have the option to modify the name of the sheet along with width height and thickness of the sheet. control nesting however, only looks at the name when separating out the materials. This means if I have a sheet that's 4 x 8 and another that's 4 x 9, and they have the same ...

increase part clearance when using specific bits
I am cutting some parts with some 45deg cuts being done to them. If I leave it to control nesting to nest the parts, it puts them too close together and ruins the parts beside them. I understand that I could just increase the clearance of my parts but since this only happens to 1 out of 100 parts, I ...

recalculate off falls automatically
when you manually move a part and you forget to click on recalculate off falls, it just cuts right thru the piece that you moved because it thinks the part isn't there. and it's cutting out the shape off the off fall the machine thinks is there it would be nice if it was done automatically, or if ...
