Label location
Hi all, I have a customer who cuts alot of his work on a dimension saw. Being a Router user, I wouldn't have a clue how the labelling works when cutting on a dimension saw. Is there any particular way to place the label on the individual part so the edgebanding shows the correct edge to be edges whe...

Re: Part Editor
Hi Wally,
Have you tried nesting this in eCabs then double clicking the part? Then below the part it will give you ALL of the dimensions of that hole.

Re: Rafix and KD/RTA Fastner in Global Setting change
Hi Dave,
Thats correct, you will have to make this change to each individual cabinet that needs the change made to it, making sure you save each cabinet of course. Im glad you got it figured out![Smile :)](./images/smilies/icon_smile.gif)

Re: Rafix and KD/RTA Fastner in Global Setting change
Hi Dave,
When you have your cabinet in the Cabinet/Assembly editor you may need to go into Default + Item then go to cabinet defaults Then edit the current KD/RTA and re select the one you have just changed and set as default. Just a though, not 100% sure that it will work but worth a try![Smile :)](./images/smilies/icon_smile.gif)

Re: drilling holes
Thats exactly the same conclusion I came up with
You can drill through the dado from the same side of the dado with no problems if the dado is 100% thickness. We do this with a few of our cabinets with great success.

Re: drilling holes
I dont see why that wouldnt work. The only reason I personally didnt try that is because I wanted to save on machine time as much as possible and drilling from the oposite side to the dado would require a flip operation which is what I was trying to avoid.

Re: Problem placing cabinets in rooms
Also make sure you draw your walls in a clockwise motion. When you draw your walls you should see an arrow pointing to the "Face" side of the wall, then when you go into the detail room area you should see a pink line around the inside of the wall where the cabinets are to be places. wall ...

Re: drilling holes
I did manage to get this to work a little while back. Placing the holes in a blind dado with 100% cut was done very easily in the part editor and it didnt come back with any errors for me. Occasionally it came back with an error saying it may effect tenons or something like that but it never actuall...

Thanks Dan,
I might just put his finger inside the head of the machine and turn the router on to clean it out next time![Wink ](./images/smilies/icon_wink.gif)
