Sorry, but it pains me to keep fighting problems that seem so easy for programmers to fix (yes, I have a degree in programming).

When the cut lists print the name of the doors always overruns the width dimension. Why can't the doors be renamed to "left door" and "right door" by the programmers ...

I tried to load Windows XP on my wifes laptop yesterday. It wouldn't work because I didn't have a post service pack 2 version. You can't install the first generation Windows XP and then update it, it has to be an install disk with SP2 incorporated. I am going to try vmware as suggested here ...

Please, stop chasing all the problems that come with EVERY version of Windows that MS has produced. Build eCabinets for a MAC and it will work for years to come without all these problems. Have you tried to buy a PC with Windows XP on it? It will be nearly impossible very soon even though VISTA is ...

I tried it with a Mac Book Pro 15\" w/o any upgrades (256M video, 1GB RAM). I used Parallels and it was slow, but worked. I bet you will get fantastic performance using BootCamp. The Mac I was using it my wifes and it works flawlessly for what she needs it to do, so I didn't want to risk ...

How are you making your blind corner cabs in e-cabs? I did it before, but now when I try to resize my old cabinet or one from the \"standard\" library I get an error like \"the dimension will result in an unstable cabinet\".

Get a Mac! eCabs runs great on the Macbook Pro and the Parallels program.
Nice screen shot of Vista. They almost duplicated the look of OS X.

I believe the e-Cabs panel optimizer does a good job of optimizing material, but it isn't so good at optimizing our labor. For example, it might place a 22w x 24h part directly above a 24w x 22h part on a sheet of melamine rather than rotating one of them so I can just take a 22\" slice of melamine ...

it is a pain. KCDW and others automatically adjust the dimensions for you and let you change the level of detail in the dimensioning at any time, so it can be done. It would be great if eCabs would automate the drawings, dimensions and cabinet labels as well.
