I Figured it out. I had to move all my job files over to C:\Users\Public\Documents\Thermwood\eCabinet Systems\My Jobs. Now they load just fine. I have no idea how that folder was empty and they were still loading.

eCabinets was working fine yesterday. Today, I tried to open a file from the home page and got an error message... "Unable to open ecabinets file data" When I close that message I get another that says..."There was an error after opening JOB file". Every job file does this. :wall:

Any ideas ...

I checked my settings and found that I am using fractions but would set my adj. hole dia. to 5mm and hit "ENTER" to change it to a fraction(1969/10000). That was the cause of the issue. If I keep the hole dia. to a fraction there is no conflict.

Thanks Mark...Is this something that happened to you recently with 5.2? Because this never happened to me in the other version. I'll go back and double check my parameters, but most everything is a 1/32 increment except for the hole diameter (5mm - .1969) and the dado clearance (1/100).

I am having one small problem when trying to add adjustable shelves and partitions. In the construction settings I set the dado depth to 1/4", click ok, and I get an syntax error message. "Dimensions must be in 1/32" increments". I click "ok" twice to get rid of the ...

WooHoo, my lucky day. Downloaded it and looks great, so far. I'm excited to try out the improvements.

That does help. Hopefully the updated version will contain these improvements and make the LDE simpler to use.

I'm sorry if this topic has been discussed before, but I was wondering if there are plans to upgrade the line drawing editor to produce shop drawings more efficiently. I spoke with an ecab rep at the Vegas AWFS and he said there were a lot of request for better shop drawing capability.

I got the same thing. Only some of the shelves showed up behind shaker style doors.
