Thank Justin I finally resolved my problem it had to do with me exporting my dxf file as a polyline as a result it created a file that was 5 times larger than the one you created and it made the profile modeler choke as well as e cab Nick I think I have been reading your post on dxf files recently s...

I've been using Tesa Brand tape for years and just as you have discovered if it is strong enough to hld the part safely it is a bear to remove from your part and it removes the top layer of your spoil board. I hate the stuff and use it only as a last resort.
