Re: A couple of issues I need to solve with this cab design

Carmen, You can use a stretcher to create your filler panels. You'll first need to set your face frames to be sheet stock. Add a top to bottom stretcher in a front back orientation. Change inset values to negative values to push it outside the cabinet internals. Then you can return to main and go to...

Until our web tech comes back from vacation, we have put in a temporary fix. The links should be working correctly now.

I agree with Terry. You can make it a little easier on yourself by left clicking and dragging the selection box in the open space around the room. After drawing the box, hit the delete key on the keyboard. Then check by hitting home on the keyboard to see if the room recenters.

I would clear your browser history and cache to make sure it isn't trying to find an older server location.

Re: Thermwood Production Sharing Website

Tony, Try from this link http://www.ecabinetsystems.com/ecabinet_systems_production_sharing_main.htm. I have no issue loading in IE, Mozilla, or Chrome. If you are going through the Thermwood main page and searching it you are possibly digging up an old link. What are you putting in the Goggle Searc...

Sorry, I have been out of office for the past week. Is this working for everyone? I do not currently receive any errors when navigating the site.

Re: Full dado innacurately measuring?

Manoli, I replied to your email. On a side note, if a dado is set to be .5" deep and your material is .75" deep, it may or may not leave you with .25" of material. If you have a depth or fit clearance for the dado, the leftover material in eCabinets will measure exact. However, when i...

Re: door/draw front deisgner

When you open the designer, first select either door or drawer at the top. You then select your source whether it be Slab, MDF, etc. Then click the blue text that reads "Standard", and then click one of the standard doors. Make your changes in material, costing, etc (if any) and click save...

Re: getting the offline player

If you unzip the folder or open it, is there a file named EZDRM_AIR_PLAYER2.2.1.air? The .air file is an installer package, not a typical .exe file.

If you cannot locate it, email me at cabinets@thermwood.com, and I'll email back what mine downloads when I click on the link in step 2.

Re: customising cnc code

yeh i know you can do that, we just want to use the cnc file instead of having to nest it in all the time. we have a work around so its fine was just seeing how hard it would be to do Just so we are clear on terminology, the CNC file is what is generated by Control Nesting. It is the file that cont...

Re: Is it possible to add dados to a stretcher?

You're welcome. An issue that may arise however is that a stretcher does not divide a cabinet into openings for doors and drawers. If you need to divide openings you can add a shelf over top of a stretcher and make the shelf a phantom part do it doesn't show up on a cut list or for CNC. You can then...

Re: Is it possible to add dados to a stretcher?

Jesse, You were almost there with your thinking. Instead of using a fixed shelf, use another stretcher as a shelf. I attached an example of how to go about it. I used the Advanced button to associate Inset 4 to the front of the back stretcher. That way if material thickness changes the inset value w...

Don, Do you have a DropBox account? If you do load the file there and email the link for it to cabinets@thermwood.com If you don't you can go to www.dropbox.com and sign up for one. It is a free file sharing website. After you have signed up and logged in, there is a button to upload a file. Once it...
