Re: Line Drawing Editor Crashing

I love my Ecabs :D But I don't use the line drawing editor. We have tried and tried to make it work for us, tried to become more proficient, tried to adjust to what we can do in there. But every time we just decide Its not as good as our old way and give up. The lady that helps me to do drawings jus...

Nest rectangular. Edge Banding onn oposite side

Hi Guys. The rectangular nesting does appear to be more efficient. I've used the new nest rectangular optimizing a couple of times now. Both times the edging on the labels has printed on the opposite edge to which it is meant to go. Has anyone else encountered this? Two other things that seem to ups...

Re: Constraints with lock Dado error

Just another example
Change the cabinet width from 782mm to 630mm.
Works okay
Attempt to change it back to 800mm error message wants to revert to previous cabinet.

Re: Magic Doors!

Hi Stuart
I followed as best I could in metric and it seems okay with plain doors
Some thoughts, attach the cabinet so we can have a look at it.
Are they plain doors?
Do you have constraints on the doors? That was messing with placement of some doors I was trying to attach to a cabinet.

Hi Ron.
Welcome to the forum.
I'm not sure if Dan frequents the forum any more.
This thread is, (dare I say it) 15 years old.

Re: Thoughts on drawer methods and systems

Hi Kerry. Thanks for your reply. :) That is pretty much how we do it as well. Its those hardware bits that you are referring to that take all the time. Pareto's 80/20rule. Like you say the drawers are the fiddliest bit and always require the most checking and sorting. A few little tweaks around the ...

Thoughts on drawer methods and systems

I would be interested in other users thoughts on how you handle the multitude of drawer systems . We have had supply issues with different drawers so we have been flipping and changing to what we can get. And also with better quality no name brands of runnerers at almost half the price of some brand...

Re: Frameless base with tray dividers below drawer

Yes, I do exactly what Stuart does.
Also you can get the first one right, and in contour, right click create edges, delete the stuff you don't need, save.
Remember to swap front and back view as preferred before loading saved geometery, it can help lay the geometry on the part easier.

Re: Blanking out the KD fastener in lock tenon

For a basecab with tray divider partitions, we see no need for screwing thru to fix them in place, and ignore the thru holes. How can we delete the holes (or have then not generated in the file.)
Perhaps apply a Blind Dado to those edges, I think Blind dados don't have any Kds.

I haven"t been able to do it from there. I use the main window and the KDA Rtas as in the attached picture to change the default. It sticks even when you save it. change hardware default.jpg You can change all the fittings or patterns for a directory in global modifications. Always make a backu...

Re: Easiest way to edit (change) all the strechers in my seeds

Hi Tommy. I read your question in 2 ways. One way is to do them in the stretcher editor, you can adjust individual stretchers by highlighting and clicking on C or using the adjust stretcher dialogue which has two or more layers of additional controls. adjust Strecher.jpg Or are you referring to a to...

Re: Nest large to small outside in

Thanks Forrest. All interesting points of view. Software packages seem to have different techniques and advantages and the programing guys always seem to be tweaking the control software so we could be lucky there. :D I think Thermwood does a lot of background stuff that we only see when it hits us....
