Changing plywood material

Post by Donald Thomson »

Is it possible to take all the drawer boxes (BIH) in a project and change the material used for front, back and sides from one material (plywood sheet) to another material (plywood sheet)?

With the cost of materials, I'm finding I'm having to change to different plywoods, globally, in a project and would prefer to not have to take each cabinet into editor, delete the drawer boxes and add drawer boxes back in with the new material. VERY time consuming to do this.

I've searched around in the Global features changes and haven't been able to find anything.

Thanks,

Don

you could create anther drawer with your new materials, then go in to global item modification and then drawer box settings and change drawers boxes to the new drawer with material combo you want.

Clint showed me exactly what I needed to do. It can be done thru feature changes.
