Display Panel Part Name Batch List

Post by Troy Hollinshead »

Hi Folks!
When I Start a new batch and add display panels to it and rename the panels from the default name "Panel" to something different. The nest lists still show the default name "Panel".

Also The Cab # is BA1 and the nest list shows BA101.
I'm sure there's a reason why it adds the 01 to the cab #.
It would be nice if both lists would jive.

Thanks

Troy,

Display panels behave differently than cabinets do, same for doors, drawers, and drawer boxes added by themselves to the Batch. You can have the name be the same by taking that display panel to the Cabinet Editor, select it, right click, and change the user part name. That will change the name with the display part and package it to go with CNC.

I'll put in a request for software engineers to see what can be done with display items to behave like cabinets. It will not be in the next release of eCabinets as we are nearly ready for release.
