locks not working on left right stretchers

Postby Thomas strembitsky » Mon, Jan 09 2023, 4:17PM

I'm not sure why but if a cabinet made in a earlier version has a left right stretcher that is up-down with locks changing the depth of cabinet causes the piece to rotate. the only solution is to delete it and make a new one.

Can you post the cabinet so I can take a look at it? If you don't want to post it you can email it to cabinets@thermwood.com. I'd need the cabinet before removing and readding the stretcher(s).

I'll give the issue to the software engineers, however there is a more preferred way to go about what you're doing. Part of the issue is that Rotation is unlocked so the stretcher is allowed to rotate with any change. However, locking rotation forces a 90 degree rotation. The better way would be not to rotate the stretcher 180 degrees, instead go to Construction Parameters inside Construction Settings and change the setting from Tenon Top/Back Side to Tenon Bottom/Front Side. This keeps all face orientations pointed the correct direction for consistency.
