Custom Labels

Postby Jacob Janzen » Tue, Jan 04 2022, 12:17PM

We cut parts based on DXF parts lists.

Is it possible to have custom labels with images for the parts? Can I list an image file in the partslist.csv? I couldn't find a way to do it in the manuals, not sure if it is possible. While we can specify edgebanding in the partslist.csv, it would be nice to have an image or a custom label for the parts to make it easier on the edgebander and installers. The images produced through eCabinets are great, I can render my own images. I just have no idea how to get the software to use them.

Thanks,
Jake

Thanks Tim,

It seems most of the discussions revolve around eCabinets... We don't use that software, we just feed it a list of dxf files.

Does anyone know if it's possible to use Crystal Reports (like eCabinets) but with a dxf parts list?

Thanks,
Jacob

Jake,

There is nothing in the software that allows that functionality for files outside of eCabinets.
