Thermwood 45 - Tool insertion arm out of alignment

Post by Grant Abel »

Wondering if someone can help us. We have a thermwood Model 45. A piece of material got wedged in our router during a tool change and it looks like one of the tool insertion arms is out of alignment now. (it tried to put the next tool in while another was inserted.) Nothing appears broken but the insertion arm is now out of alignment and cannot be used. Is there something that can be done to realign this or are we looking at a new arm and a service call. ??? Wondering if anyone has dealt with this before?

Hi Grant. We had a similar incident where we broke an arm and had to replace it. When the part arrived we easily installed the new one then called thermwood and the tec walked us through the alignment process. My advice is to call them they will advise you as to what you need to get back up and running.
