Offal cut-through depth

Post by Tommy Wieler »

Any reason the offal outline cuts deeper than the rest of the job? Cut through depth is set at .15mm, and all the parts obey that setting, except the offal, which cuts through at .45mm.

Tommy,

Can you post your code? When I nest and write to CNC outline and off fall show same cut through depth.

Tommy,

Your off fall that you used for material was made from a file where your 16mm material was entered as thicker than the new .twd. The off fall was created from a file with the 16mm material that was set to 16.3mm, the current .twd it was set to 16mm. It's a branch in the code between cutting parts and cutting off fall from the material that the next version of Control Nesting has addressed.
