Shop Drawings

Hi all:
Have another question. How you more experienced users handle your drawings? What I mean is will eCabinets allow you to draw title bars/insert page numbers, etc. as is found in normal shop drawings? For instance, in my shop, I need two sets of drawings, one for the customer to approve and one for the cabinetmakers to use. Both contain separate information.

Hey Joey,
This has been discussed several times and I bet if you do a search you can find what your looking for. It is possible to do title blocks and such.

First, I created a text file with nearly every verbage I could possibly use in the shop drawings. (This keeps me from retyping everything) I also created a dxf file (it was tricky but it imports exactly in the right place every time) I then bring in the dxf title block I made into the LDE, I then go and copy the text and click Note mode on the LDE and hit control \"V\" on the key board. This pastes the copied text into the LDE.

I know this is kind of vague but it works. And with a little practice you can kick out a set in no time.

Thanks for the replies. I figured that it must have been addressed before. My search terms weren't turning up much info though. Thanks for the title bar file too. I typically send drawings out for client approvals and I need to put some standard language on each page. Thanks again. Aiken, S.C., eh?
