Part editor bug that caught me out a few times

Post by Paul Ellis »

In the part editor, if you want to do a profile cut and you inadvertantly enter a negative number in the comp left or right field a message box appears that says \"Please enter a positive number\". Try as you might, you cannot get rid of this message box - you have to shut down the program using task manager. This has happened to me a few times in previous builds as well and I just keep on forgetting to report it. Is there a way around it?

Paul,
That has happened to me. I recall that all I did was select the other direction radio button (left or right) and enter a positive number in that field and things went along nicely.

Peter,
I tried your method and...no dice...it still plays up (or not) even after pressing the other direction and entering a positive number, after I press OK the message box is there waiting for me. Clicking on OK on the message box only opens another and another and another...I think my computer hates me because I opened her up and fiddled with her insides!
