This is made wrong but....

Post by Leo Graywacz »

This is made wrong but it looks right. What I need to make I can't really figure out how to do properly. What I want is a FF that has a panel on either end and a set of double (bi fold) doors. I cheated and made a face frame that was 1/8\" with a center style of the same width. How would I make the FF with the panels and how do you make 2 sets of double doors. I tried a few things but when I came back to the main cabinet editor the doors were not there. So how do I make such a creature?

Here is the HSF file.
Dell Precision 7710
Intel Core i7-6820HQ @ 2.70GHz 16.00 GB RAM
NVIDIA Quadro M3000M
512 GB PCIe NVMe - M.2 SSD
Win 7 Pro 64-bit

Leo,
I think you have what you need. I have been playing around with this, and figured out that if you delete the FF, then add partitions, Re-apply the doors (with a 2" top and bottom reveal), everything seems fine. But then when you add the FF back onto the cabinet, the doors dissappear??? I think you have figured out the way to make it work. The only thing you need to worry about is the length of your top and bottom FF rails. I have attached a pic of how to fix that. Just set your FF to these settings to make the top and bottom rail come out right! I used a 2" wide rail. Your rail may be a different dimension.

If anybody else has a different approach please post.

Hi Leo I am not sure if this will help. When Todd showed the settings it
got me thinking and started playing with the setting
