options for cutting CV parts

I was contacted by someone who uses CV for all their cabinets. What are my options for cutting their parts on my Thermwood? Will I have to recreate them in e-cabinets, or is their another option?

Brent, from what I understand you just need to change the file name to *.cvdfx then load it like a .dfx

Hi Brent,

If your contact can output their cabinetvision file to a dxf file, then you can load that dxf file into Control Nesting to create the cnc file. If your contact does have this ability, he/she will need to change the layer names (outline, dado, drill, etc...) in order for this to work.

Another option woud be if the contact cannot output the dxf file is to send their .cv file to another CV user that can generate the dxf file for you.
