Can't verify registration

Post by Patrick Campbell »

Hi, I'm one who missed the update and got locked out of E cabs. I have since downloaded the update but when I try to open E cabs it needs to verify my registration. The problem is it can't verify for some reason I have contacted tech support and they told me to disable my firewall which I did to no avail. I have turned off everything I know to turn off that would prevent communication between the two computers and still nothing. Any ideas as to what could be the problem? I really need to access some old job files and have a presentation ready for next week so any help or advice you could share with me would be much appreciated.

I am checking to see what else would be stopping your computer from verifing the reg code. I will let you know what I find out.

Make sure you are using exactly the same email address that you initially registered with.

I want you to open your Internet explorer, then try to verify ecabinet system. Sometimes there is a setting for the internet explorer that will not allow a software to open it. If this is the case we might be able to get around it by opening the explorer before hand.

Justin, I tried opening IE and turned off my firewall/anti virus and tried again with the same results.

Another thing is to make sure you download and save the update file locally before running it. If you try to run it from the website it has been known to cause problems.

As long as it downloaded without problems and is saved locally, it should be okay.

I think where Justin was going is to make sure you have a dialup connection established before trying to verify the registration.
