I posted something about the Constraint Manager earlier this year and we found an actual bug in the program. There's something else that actually bit me today because I didn't see that there was a tennon for blind dado on a piece that had a butt joints construction.
I am posting this one to see if someone else had that thing appear on some of their cabinets when they use the constraint manager to adjust diumensions and after that they change the construction method. As as you remove the measurements the right construction appears but then u have to go through all the part editor operations.
May be this bug will dissapear as soon as the other gets fixed. I have a ready cabinet that I can show the programmers as soon as they show interest.
Here's the file guys. If you explode it 100% you will actually notice the blind dado behind the display panel. Something i didnt do and end up with it. It's an easy fix as the cabient maker will just cut it off on the table saw. In order to get the right construction method you have to remove the part editor cuts on the piece and then it will update to butt joint construction. Even if i remove the constraints and go back to the main window the problem still exists. Anyways take a look at it and see what you can do.
OK there's another thing that I am pretty sure other people have encountered as well. If I use pilaster channels for adjustable shelfs and by mistake I put shelf holes or fixed shelf into the gables or partitions I cant regenerate the part editor cuts after I remove the fixed shelf (blind dado construction) or the adjustable shelf holes. I know that it's my mistake that in first place I put shelf holes of fixed shelf where the pilaster channels were but still shouldn't blind dado or holes be removed after I remove the shelve holes. It's just a thought. Once again everything can be fixed and I can go around it and create what I want. It's just a thought for the programmer team.
