Vince, that is the way we do it, 2" long assymbly screws with auger tip and nibs on the head.

Yeh, didnt even think about the flip op it would cause, not something you would want to do for a production job.
We use blind dado's, we glue and staple sides that wont show, and just glue and clamp the ones that do.BUt, we are doing a kitchen every 10 days or so, not 5 a day or anything like that.
