Okay Guys,
Building the cabinets for a pretty nice home, including this walk in pantry, of course he wants to cut corners in this room, but yet wants to use every inch. We have agreed to the attached layout, with the exception that he wants that outside corner filled in, but not with fillers. I was going to just angle the base cab,the wall cab and the tall pantry to meet or fill in the corner, but I am drawing a complete blank as how I have done this before, and it seems like I have. It would take the front of the cabinet to be one diminsion in width and the back to be a lesser diminsion.I know I can do it in the part editor, and added panels but I seem to remember a easier way, my mind is blank, what am i missing?

With the angle for that corner you can't use a standard corner cabinet.

You might experiment with an angled cabinet turned sideways (inset the front or back and use "angle part"). It that doesn't work you are probably stuck with the Part Editor route.

Take a look at this thread from about a year ago (started by some guy named Mike Murray ) about making an outside corner cabinet.

Mike I would make that outside corner cabinet, a dbl door cabinet and machine the notch out so it slides over the wall.

Hi Guys,
Thanks for the help, funny Dan, guess I must have struggled with this one before.
I really need a standard straight cabinet, clipped at a 22.5 degree angle to the back. I think it will have to be done in parts editor unless I am missing something. Seems like this would be a good cabinet to add to the standard cabinets as I am sure it is a pretty common occurance.I guess I could pull the end off the cabinet that was going to be angled, clip the top, deck, and shelves. Measure the lengh of the angle and then create another cabinet to that depth and then delete everything but the end I need, bring it in and make an assembly. This would give me hinge holes and shelf holes, but would not resize correctly in any direction. Any one with a better idea that would resize. I would hate to make this thing over and over...
