I'm following the instructions in the help manual to find cabinet-to-cabinet separation, but I just don't see it.
I'm in the "Detail Room" editor, looking at elevation view. I have double clicked to select two adjacent cabinets. The help guide then says, "Read the Distance". Hmmm.... where? On the left side of the screen there is a window that displays info for whatever object the mouse is currently hovering over, but it doesn't display a cabinet separation distance.

Re: measure cabinet separation
Switch to overhead view and you will see the distance between two selected cabinets.

Re: measure cabinet separation
How would you go about selecting an object that is obscured by another object above it? For example, a base cabinet directly below an upper? I looked at the show/hide options, but I didn't see a way to hide a specific cabinet.
Thanks

Re: measure cabinet separation
Move the cabinet temporarily. Set the move function to 5' and move the cabinet down (or whatever), take your measurement and then move it back with the move function, you shouldn't have to change the distance.
Re: measure cabinet separation
If you are in your overhead view, you can also tilt a room by using PAGE UP and PAGE DOWN. That may save you the hassle of having to physically move the cabinet to select it.
