I just installed ecab on my wifes laptop to see if it works. It is a intel dual core 1.6ghz with 3 Gig of ram and a shared memory Video card. preliminary test shows ecab working ok. I want to stress test it. Can anyone recommend some things for me to try.
Thanks
Greg

Greg,
Ecabinets does not make use of the dual core processor. FYI
The more you have on the screen the slower the program will work.
Applying Hardware and moldings to cabinets really boggs the system down. The more hardware the slower the program. This is why we give you the ability to hide these graphically draining entities. I would create a cabinet with some pulls, drawer slides, and maybe some molding. Then drop one into the the layout editor. Try rotating the room, rendering, ect. Then drop another cabinet in, and do the same thing.
