New Version download

Just wondering if V5.2 B1 can be downloaded onto a computer which doesnt already have eCabs on it?

Hey Al,
Go back to the eCabinets forum and look at the top of the page
Failing that, click Communications then check for updates within eCabinets

Hi Paul. 5.2 Build 1 is merely an update. A disc is still required to install eCabinet Systems 5.x. That means that any version 5 disc will work.

I received the notification about V5.2. Fired up V5.1 Bld 5 and clicked on Communications Update. The D/L occurred and the install went as I expected. When I opened eCab it still said V5.1. I went to the forum and downloaded the file I found in this thread. I ran it and now it wants to know if I want to remove V5.2.
I cancelled that.
What happened to the V5.2 install? Why do I still have V5.1? Do I have to uninstall V5.1 and then install V5.2?

When you download it, you will have an icon on your desk top. click on it and it will go to the install wizard and install the program. It will ask you if you want to uninstall v5.1, click yes. After you are through, click on your v5.1 on the desktop and it will update and change to v5.2.

Since there are so many of you, perhaps you could all just pool your money and pay for me to come there to record the soundtracks? It sure would be a lot less expensive.

Hey Thom, do you mean how many Kiwi's living in Australia are using eCabs, cos that would be heaps, If you meant how many Kiwi's still living in NZ using it, I'd have to say both of them.
