Custom Layout Texture Match in V5.2

Post by Joe Dusel »

Is there an easy way to do texture matching in the Custom Layout Editor with the new version? If you try this you are basically now working blind since all of the objects now show non-textured unless you are in the Rendered view, which does not have a Texture Match selection. So, if you highlight an item that you want to have texture matched, then click on another item you have no idea if the texture match worked until you then select the Render icon.

Hey Joe, it's under Edit Options in the right click menu.

Thanks Rick. I know how to do it, but I just can't tell if it actually did anything until I change to the Rendered View. This seems to be one drawback of the new multi-colored, no texture editor.

Sorry Joe, maybe that's something they can add to the information area in future builds.

I would Like to see in the Future Build to be able to change the Molding, Doors, Faceframe, etc, ( Every Part of
the Cabinets ) when you use change Material not just the Sheet Stock, or am I missing something, or maybe wishing
to much.
Thinks

I'm actually surprised that the fine folks at Thermwood have not added selections for Change Materials to include Board Stock, Edgebanding and Moldings. I would have to imagine that those are on the list.
